NAMM 2018 - pickings

The show is over. After leaving sunny California early this week, we finally arrived back in German time-zone with lots of positive impressions in our minds

NAMM 2018

The new year has just begun and the NAMM Show casts its shadow before. Next week, from January 25th to 28th, the Anaheim Convention Center opens its doors for makers of pro-audio-equipment, instruments and sound machines.

NAMM 2017

We packed our suitcases and are on our way to NAMM 2017 in Anahaim. During the last months we are busy building ’14 Analogsynthesizers but still found some time to create some new eurorack modules.

We already showed twinVCFilter at last years Superbooth in Berlin. Now you can try out the final version. Additionally we made an extension module that gives out all filter types in parallel as well as a notch. twinVCFilter will be available in the first quarter of this year.

uniCycle is a analog oscillator eurorack module. Beside the standard waveforms sine, triangle, saw and rectangle it offers an even-waveform as well as a special sawtooth with doubled frequency that can be pulse-width-modulated.

There will be use in many eurorack systems for quadroPOL - an extremly versatile four-channel polarizer / true ringmodulator. It also can be used as mixer for audio-signals or control-voltages as well as voltage source.

After we brought vermona-style electronic drums and percussions into eurorack format with twinCussion, we now present a creative method to trigger them: randomRHYTHM. Beside its use as gate sequencer it is a unique clock-generator and -divider.

As you see, this year’s NAMM is very eurorack-related from our side. However, we don’t forgot to bring our stand-alone-classics with us. Just come by to check out DRM1 MKIII, PERfourMER MKII and Mono Lancet ’15.

We are looking forward to inspiring conversations, new acquaintances and sun.

Back home...

After one week in sunny California we are finally back in our Elektroakustische Manufaktur in Erlbach. It was good to be at NAMM 2016 and it was great to be part of the SchneidersBüro booth. So first of all we’d like to thank all at SchneidersBüro and Alex4, especially Jan and René for their fantastic job on location.

We were pleased to see smiling faces of people who played with our gear and are thankful for numerous conversations we had with existing and maybe future VERMONA customers.

BTW: Here are a few videos about VERMONA at NAMM 2016, enjoy watching:

New information about the ’14 Analogsynthesizer and the twinCussion will be available on our homepage soon. To get notified, just follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook.

So what’s next after NAMM 2016? Instead of attending the Musikmesse in Frankfurt this year, we were heading for a new adventure: Superbooth 2016 from March, 31st - April, 2nd 2016 in Berlin. We are looking forward seeing you there!

NAMM Show 2016

Next week, from January 21–24, the NAMM Show in Anaheim, LA will open its doors. You will find us there on a shared booth no. 5014 in Hall B, organized by SchneidersBüro. Together with friends of the synthesizer- and modular scene, we will present our latest products as well as long-term classics.

Again we will show the ’14 Analogsynthesizer. Unfortunately we couldn’t fulfill our plan to release it in 2015 but this year we will! The first synthesizers will leave our Elektroakustische Manufaktur after SuperBooth2016 in Berlin.

Of course, we will also present the most classic VERMONA instrument: the DRM1 MKIII. You can play it on our booth in combination with the Action Filter 4 - analog stereo filter and convince yourself of the power and flexibility of analog circuits.

Our Modular Case 104 will be filled with VERMONA modules: Among others you can check out the VCDrive - distortion module - this time as final product, the latest version of the twinCussion prototype as well as a first impression of a multimode filter module.

We are looking forward to see new and familiar faces and having interesting conversations.
